Participants in LambdaHacks are expected to follow this Code of Conduct, to ensure a safe and productive environment.

1) Be respectful. Be kind and friendly, and don’t insult other participants. Treat others how you would want to be treated. All harassment is prohibited, along with any kind of inappropriate statements or actions. This is a friendly competition, so although constructive criticism is welcome, put-downs are unacceptable.

Harassment includes but is not limited to offensive statements related to:

  • Age
  • Gender
  • Sexual orientation
  • Race
  • Disability
  • Physical appearance
  • Religion
  • Social/Economic Status
  • Intimidation
  • Unwelcome sexual imagery or comments
  • Stalking

Anything that makes someone uncomfortable is harassment.

2) Be honest. Everything presented as a project at the end of LambdaHacks must have been created entirely during the hackathon and entirely by you.

If you feel that someone is breaking this code, report them to event staff. LambdaHacks reserves the right to take any action it deems appropriate in this case. Email for hackathon staff will be located in Resources Tab.
